- Mr José Merino Ruiz -founder of the firm- was graduated in Law at the Complutense University of Madrid (1957-1962) and was graduated in Business Administration at the College of Bussiness Administration (ICADE) of the Pontifical University of Comillas (1963 1966). Legal English course in United Kingdom (June 1962- September 1963). Degrees of Sworn Interpreter of English and French given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 1976-1977. Incorporated to the Bar of Madrid in 1971.
In the period 1966-1972 he performed the duties of counsel secretary of board of directors and Director of Human Resources in a group of companies.
In the period 1973-1997 he was member of one of the largest collective law firms in those years (Bufete José M. Armero, Madrid) and he focused his professional activity in foreign investments in Spain, especially in tourist areas of the Peninsula and the Canary and Balearic Islands, with frequent trips to those areas. During those years he joined as arbitrator to the Civil and Commercial Court of Arbitration (CIMA) . He is currently arbitrator in the Court of Arbitration of the Illustrious Bar of Madrid. In 1998. he established an independent law firm under the legal form of a limited liability company, named MerinoAbogados, S.L., registered as a trade name, trademark and domain
- Mr Carlos Alejo Merino Navarro (member) was graduated in Law at San Pablo University (CEU) (1988-1993). Special courses in legal english at Columbia University in New York(September 1992- June 1993) and at Bell International, London (September 1993- June 1994).
